#BIO – Dr. Mike Israetel

Mike is a professor of Exercise Science at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where he teaches Nutrition for Public Health, Exercise Nutrition and Behavior, Applied Sports Nutrition, Personal Training, and Advanced Strength and Conditioning. Mike’s PhD is in Sport Physiology, and he has been a consultant on sports nutrition to the U.S. Olympic Training Site in Johnson City, TN as well as an invited speaker at numerous conferences and facilities around the world, including the U.S. Olympic Training Center at Lake Placid, NY. Mike has coached numerous powerlifters, weightlifters, bodybuilders, and other individuals in both diet and weight training. He’s the co-founder of Renaissance Periodization, a nutrition and training company specializing in advanced nutrition and training solutions from templates to world-class personal coaching. Mike has co-authored multiple books on nutrition and training and is usually working on another book among other endeavors. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Mike is himself a competitive bodybuilder and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grappler.

Greg Connolly builds businesses. While still in college he started his first of 5 businesses, a web design firm during the early days of the internet. Since, he has founded or co-founded 4 other companies raising almost $20M in capital in 3 raises and leading to 2 successful acquisitions. Now he runs Trifecta, the country’s largest ‘all organic’ meal delivery company. He is also the founder / CEO of Amara.
